Nowadays television and the advertising displayed in it is a part of everyday life in most households. What many people do not know is that television in many ways is bad. Numerous articles have been written on this. Many surveys and books have been written on this subject as well. The ads in television are what are especially bad. Some television ads are misleading. At any given time a person can turn on their television and find a commercial of some sort. Their main purpose is for them to throw information about their product to anyone who will listen. It is also common for this form of advertisement to be promoting an alcoholic beverage.Needless to say, alcohol companies have mastered the art of grabbing the attention of their audience by imbedding their images and words through commercial advertising. Although clever, these advertisements can be misleading their viewers to think that drinking brings unattainable excitement and pleasure rather than the serious consequences that frequently arise.

Why luxury in china are much more expensive than in other countries? The answer is Chinese people are willing to spend money on luxury. Even not the high income family like to buy the luxury.They compare with each other to show off what good things they get.Sometimes Chinese people think luxury is the symbol of richness.That’s why so many people buy the luxury to let other people know they are rich. In another hand, it could lead to many other business problems. For example,many illegal factories make up the fake products to make a big account of money.It is related to business ethics and really results in a bad effect on customer’s benefits.Also, buying luxury blindly is an unhealthy consumer psychology, it should not be suggested to do that.

For each boy, they all had one same dream when they were youth. We hope to have playstation which is a super game machine for our own. With higher technology, ps4 provides more advanced function. Comparing with the previous one, ps4 changes a lot. It suits all age groups, and has more advantage than other same kind of products. It has already owned most of market share and had most consumers. The future opportunity is wide, it forecasts that the sales in this year will increase a lot. However, there are still some weakness besides. For example, the report said as soon as ps4 shows up, lots of products related to ps3  will be abandon. It will make the market unhealthy.

November 11 is a specific festival for single people in china. In this day, single people are always joke by the lovers. Therefore, there are many good treatments for these single people. The most attractive treatment is big discount in online shopping. People are crazy about the discount shopping, even not the single people, they do lots of shopping on the Internet. For example, a very normal family used most income to do the shopping in this day. Actually, it is an unhealthy business, it could lead to many problems to the market and  supply chain. In the future, in order to avoid this situation happening, the government should control the market. Otherwise, the social market must be in a mess like this year.

Comparing with mid term 1, I got an amazing result in mid term 2. At the beginning of this term, I did not put all my effort on the study. I was curious about everything at UBC, like new friends, new professors and new environment. I wasted a lot of time and energy. That’s why I got a bad result in mid term 1. I realized I needed to work hard and concentrate on study. I spent more time on reviewing and did more work before class. In this mid term 2, I felt more relaxed than last one, because I did much preparation before I took the exam. I was confident to get a better mark. Finally, I was glad and satisfied with my grades and I hope I can keep working hard in the future till the final exam.

With the time passing,the UBC students get into the test week.Midterm is coming and every student becomes much busier than before. When we go to the library , we can see that the library is full of students,even until the mid night, there are still many students studying in the library. Although we are busy,  I think it is very important experience in our school life. We can learn a lot from each other,like the spirit of studying.Anyway, we enjoy our school time and experience different types of lives here.I love UBC and every people here.

Nowadays, the newest APEC meeting held in Bali island. The presidents of many countries stay together to have a meeting. Fortunately, the president of Russia catches up the birthday during this moment. All presidents congratulate him and sing the birthday song for him. Especially the president of Indonesia, he played guitar to lead all people sing the song.What a touched picture! We can feel all countries connect together that the world becomes one part.Another interesting thing is Xijinping who is China’s chairman wears the local  clothing to participate the meeting.

China’s national day is one of the most important holiday for Chinese people. People have seven days’s holiday during this special period.They can enjoy the long holiday with family or friends. However, today is the last day of national day,I can see many people submit their happy moment to the Internet and they feel the holiday was going so fast.Although, I was not in china, I can feel their happiness and pity . I missed my family and friends,but I need to face the future and struggle for my dream. Anyway,happy national day to everyone and begin to work again. LOL!

China lost the final game yesterday night. For each fans of league of legends, it is disappointing for them. However, it has already been a new history for Chinese people, it was the first time for china’s team get into the final. They practiced hardly and tried their best to fight  against Korea’s team. It was a pity to lose the game, but we respect them for their spirit. I hope china’s team could walk further in the future and keep struggling for their dream. Good luck for them. GO GO GO!

Business ethics is always based on profits and human ethics.People want to get bigger profits from consumers.However,many suppliers are cheating on workmanship and materials,totally ignore the benefit of consumers.According to the case of iphone5c,Apple company didn’t put more effort on innovation of the cellphone,but for the benefit of the deeper,they did a big change on colour. Even then,the apple company is still confident of business prospects,because they can seize the attractive point of consumers.Fortunately,Apple company has already owned a perfect renown,the consumers believe in the brand “APPLE”,that’s why Apple still can be successful with innovation.People paid more attention to the technological leap before,but now because of the success of Steve Jobs,they always think every time with a new iphone releases,people can get the big surprise of new technology.From another perspective to consider about this phenomenon,it’s like kind of cheating which is brand effect.In my own opinion,I think it is against business ethics.Anyway,most people hope apple company can keep making better products to us and this is my expectation as well.
