This blog was created in September 2009 for the course 559M: Social Media for for Information Profession at the University of British Columbia. The course instructor is Dean Giustini, and I the blogger am Roen Janyk. I am a Masters student at UBC studying Library and Information studies. I have a strong interest in social media tools, and feel they should play a significant role in libraries as web 2.0 quickly develops.
