Housing prices have increased by 50% since 2020. Financially disadvantaged students are disproportionately affected, but are not getting help.

They are forced to work multiple jobs just to pay rent and afford food, and sometimes it’s not even enough. This harms their wellbeing and disrupts their education.

The Solution: Priority On-Campus Housing

Student housing should be prioritized for those experiencing financial hardship alongside other vulnerable groups.

These changes would help ensure that the housing system better supports students who face the greatest financial barriers.
