My name is Sean and I am a recent graduate from The University of British Columbia. At the moment I am living in Chilliwack, British Columbia, and work as a Researcher with the Sto:lo Xwexwilmexw Government.
Thanks for dropping by, I hope one day we can meet off the internet! In the meantime, I have created this lovely blog which I hope will tie you over. On the top header, you will see links to multiple categories of my work. Most of the content relates to Geography, however, you might also find writing samples from outside the discipline. I am always interested in cons

I love the environment, and more particularly understanding how people interact with ideas of nature and how we can work as a society to understand and mitigate our impact on the natural world. How we relate and coexist with the natural world in our cities and beyond is particularly important to me.
I grew up in the Fraser Valley and spent a considerable amount of time in BC’s interior (around an hour outside of Kamloops!). I watched as foresters and farmers worked with the land, navigating around the complex topography of British Columbia’s landscapes. It wasn’t until my post-secondary studies that I realized the extensive intellectual landscapes in the province, and how navigating them presents a unique and exciting challenge.
I then moved to Quebec to work as a language monitor where I taught English and learned French. I lived in a town of 2000 people north of Val d’Or, the experience was quite unlike anything else.
I hope in the future to study some type of resource planning or education, merging my love for the environment with my passion for people to help have an impact on the world (No matter how small).

Pendant ma vie, j’ai vécu partout la Canada. En Colombie Britannique, au Quebec et aux Les Territoires Nord-Ouest. Je trouve que chaque endroit a une culture unique et intéressante. Je toujours aimait voir la relation entre les gens qui habite en chaque coin du Canada, et leurs relations avec le monde natural
