Marketing Strategy: Deloitte to launch a ‘Green Dot’ Campaign

Hello everyone! My name is Sophia and I am a third year Accounting Co-op student. I am very happy to start my first blog for the Marketing Class and I am very excited to share my marketing insights with everyone.

Recently, I have been going through accounting recruitment and I have attended a lot of networking events. Here, I want to show you a creative video that I saw in the Deloitte Information Session yesterday. The video features the distinctive green dot logo of Deloitte, which is the largest Professional Services firm in Canada. I hope you enjoy it the same as I do!

The above video is one of the marketing tools that Deloitte uses in the “Green Dot” campaign.  The campaign is part of Deloitte’s “Always One Step Ahead” brand platform. Deloitte’s brand strategy  supports the existing Deloitte vision: “To be the Standard of Excellence”.

From my perspective, Deloitte’s corporate advertising strategy is very effective in generating external brand awareness and recognition for the firm by highlighting its wide range of professional services to clients around the world. Deloitte’s marketing strategy can not only attract more potential recruits but also more business executives. The launch of the GreenDot ad campaign successfully adds value to Deloitte and creates a competitive advantage over any other accounting firm.

I also like doing yoga and I am disciplined to do yoga for 20 minutes every day! I went to the World Expo in Shanghai this summer and I had a great time!
