Today was my first Moodle adventure. I think it went well! When I first sat down to do this my nerves kicked in and I panicked a bit. I came across John’s tutorial, watched it and I was off. I create the site, did the welcome page, the forum all within 20 min or so. Two things worked well for me…having a starting off point to build my confidence (John’s video) and then just getting in and playing around. In terms of what was most challenging is that I really don’t know the capabilities of Moodle or what to expect from it. I know websites – there are pages, text, links and images. So with websites, I have a directions I wanted to go…with Moodle I don’t really know. I am thrilled that day 1 went well, and I look forward to creating more!
