This is our last lecture. (here are the slides)

We’ve covered a lot of ground, and there is even more to cover.

We’ll mainly be looking at response markers (like yes and no). And I will show you that

i) they can be used in different ways (not just as answers to yes/no questions)

ii) they can be modified in ways that indicate that language indicates with the system of emotions

And I’ll talk a bit about how to write a paper (here is a checklist)
