Hi, my name is Matt Yard, Teacher Candidate in UBC`s IB-PYP program.  I have a BA in Pacific and Asian Studies (Southeast Asia Concentration) from the University of Victoria.  Until now, my teaching experience has been in ESL in South Korea and Chile, but I am excited about changing my focus to elementary school.  I am a proud new father and grateful student who is learning every day.
