Welcome to The Education Pusher Blog. By ‘Education Pusher’ I mean education of any sort, Trade, Craft, Sport, STEM, Social Welfare (Human and Animal), Business, and lesser known or heard of potential vocations. There are so many options in life for youth and they need to know this and be EXPOSED. In order to get exposure- they need to stay in school. And we need to change education at the secondary level! We need to change Secondary education so it really engages youth in the next stage of their lives, not continue what they have been working on since kindergarten but just getting harder… its not engaging for MANY! Engage them in what they will want to engage in FOR LIFE! Adolescence is such a unique and beautiful stage! Let’s not waste its unique momentum to individuate and thrive. Additionally, my apologies to MI die-hards, Education “Pusher” may sound MI nonadherent. But I want to do it– and I want YOU to do it with UTMOST RESPECT FOR each individuals’ AUTONOMY! Namaste

With this Blog, my hope is to inform you about constructive ways to engage and communicate with hard to reach youth in schools. This Blog also houses my Research protocol if you are involved in my research or just want to learn MI on your own and put some of my interventions to use!
