Criteria
Our first issue, Urban Belonging, explores how people find connection, identity, and meaning in the city — through memory, community, movement, land, design, and everyday experience. Interpret the theme freely. We invite work that explores how belonging takes shape in the city — through memory, community, movement, land, or everyday life. We welcome:
- Research
- Essays
- Photography
- Poems
- Reflections
- Architectural Designs
- Creative Pieces
We hope to see your curiosity and care reflected for the city. We accept work produced during the current and previous academic year.
Editorial Ethos
Submissions are evaluated on a rolling basis and must meet the following criteria:
- Relevance to the issue theme.
- Clarity of argument or artistic vision.
- Originality of perspective or creative approach.
- For written work: adherence to word limits and citation standards.
The journal is committed to accessibility and inclusivity. All submissions that meet basic criteria will be accepted conditionally, and editors will work closely with contributors to strengthen and refine their pieces.
How To Submit
Please prepare and upload your submission as a single file using the form linked below. You will also be asked to briefly describe your submission and explain its relevance to the theme.
