Indoor Shoes
Due to the wet and snowy weather, I ask that students wear the appropriate footwear to school (winter boots). Please ensure that your child has indoor shoes (sneakers, slip-ons, even slippers) for the classroom so that we can keep our space clean and dry during the day. Thank you.

We only have 1 chapter to go in The Lemonade War and Catwings! This will be our last week of literature circles for both the grade 2s and 3s! Both groups have done an impressive job each week doing the assigned reading, their tasks and questions, and coming to the meetings prepared to discuss the chapter. I have been inspired by our work with Lit O’s! Thank you 2s and 3s!
Remember, we will meet for our last discussion on Friday!
Culture
The students have been working on their space logbooks and their planet designs. Hopefully by the end of this week all students will have created a model of their imagined planet.

All three grades worked hard this week to edit a piece of writing from our field trip to the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. The students were required to write about the trip, edit their writing using the Criteria for Success, peer conference and write a final copy with a detailed illustration.
