Symposium Submissions:
Each year UFSA is proud to present UBC’s best research in film studies. Each applicant can submit up to two papers for review that are related to film or television. We are looking for papers around 7-16 pages double spaced/2,000-3,000 words. Submissions must be submitted to editor.ubcufsa@gmail.com as word documents, and will be judged blind by our team of editors. Selected papers will be presented at our annual symposium in March (presentations run at around 20 minutes each).
At this time we are only accepting submissions from UBC students.
Submissions for our Blog:
We accept rolling submissions to be published on our blog. We are looking for film reviews, and short papers (2-5 pages double spaced) to populate our blog. Questions and submissions should be directed to editor.ubcufsa@gmail.com.
