Welcome to Unused Terrain!

We are looking at unused land in Vancouver. Vacant land is an invisible problem in Canada and here in Vancouver. Did you know there are approximately 30,000 vacant sites across Canada and approximately 300 of those are in the City of Vancouver? They go by many names–vacant, orphaned, abandoned–and sit unused for five to ten years, on average before development.

Unused Terrain is passionate about how we can support engaged citizens and community organizations to access sites for social good.
