The AMS Bike Co-op is looking for volunteers to help the organizers of the second ever Pedalling Art:
Vancouver’s Annual Bike Art Auction . This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 10th at Gam
Gallery .
Pedalling Art is a silent auction fundraiser for two programs run by PEDAL and the AMS Bike Co-op:
Pedals for the People and Bici Libre . These programs divert bikes from the waste stream, refurbish them
with the help of volunteers, and give bikes to people that would otherwise have little to no means of
reliable transportation. The programs also subsidize repairs and provide mechanical instruction and
support in the form of toolkits when possible.

Volunteers are needed to assist with planning and execution of the event.
Volunteers can expect to gain skills and experience in the following areas:
● Event staffing, planning, and promotion
● Curation
● Gallery install / uninstall
● Non-profit management
● Programs management
