About Me
Hi! I’m Will Engle and I work for UBC’s Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology as a strategist[1] for open education initiatives. Specifically, I support[2][3] with projects that are leveraging technologies[4][5][6][7], approaches[8][9][10][11] and pedagogies[12][13][14][15][16] to support open learning and scholarship[17][18]. With a background in library science, I am interested in understanding[19] and supporting the removal of barriers[20][21][22][23][24][25] that limit access to, and participation in, education, information, and knowledge.
