comm 101 Business ethic is not lying, but it has purpose for sure

Just post it on my blog AGAIN in case

According to the reading The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase Profits, and also the news Going bananas http://www.economist.com/node/21551500 . They lead me think that firms or even entrepreneurs, who are dedicated to contribute to community and society, must have incentive to do so. From the perspective of  economics, they decide to sacrifice in order to gaining more. In terms of social responsibility, in other words, business ethic, really help them to build and reinforce their reputation in long-run. Based on the news linked above, the company named Chiquita is devoted to sell bananas to civilian as well as make contribution. They are not merely doing so, they entitle what they do as their company’s characteristic.  What they gain is not just reputation, but also a desirable image for society and consumers with plenty of profits in long-run. On the other hand, they may have a thought of meeting their social responsibility also, but it is still worthy to emphasis that they really utilize what they can use for their own purpose, either profits or own sense of caring others. Businessmen are smart, they will not do the things without benefits.
