Sexual Assault Awareness Month

The University of British Columbia

Get Involved

The success and sustainability of SAAM relies on the expertise, enthusiasm, and innovation of our community partners. This year, we are looking for partners that will organize and run events under the umbrella of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. By fostering these collaborations, we hope to engage more of our UBC community in Sexual Assault Awareness.

There are three levels through which you can partner for SAAM 2013:

  • Events Partnerplan an event for SAAM alone or in collaboration with another partner.
  • Partnermake an existing event open to the community, or modify it to fit the theme and purpose of SAAM.
  • Promotional Partneractively promote SAAM events and initiatives on your social media networks, as well as help with putting up posters and other promotional materials.

Already holding an event of series of events in January? If you are not able to contribute through organizing an event specifically for SAAM, we would invite the chance to participate in your event by setting up a SAAM booth.
