UBC Three Minute Thesis semi-finalist (2019)

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a worldwide academic competition that assists current graduate students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.

I achieved 2nd place in the UBC Faculty of Forestry 3MT Heat, and moved on to the UBC 3MT Semi-Finals. There I achieved one of two honourable mentions, and continued on to the UBC 3MT Finals as one of ten university-wide finalists in 2019. Watch my 3MT presentation here.
