About

Amnesty International UBC is an AMS club that promotes awareness of human rights around the UBC campus and the Vancouver community.  We focus on letter writing campaigns and fostering community knowledge and dialogue.

We are guided by the mandate of Amnesty International to uphold universal standards of human rights and equality and to promote a peaceful and impartial voice for the oppressed and wrongfully treated.  If you wish to participate in our organization, please attend one of our general meetings, held every second Tuesday on campus. The next meeting is at 6pm at BUCH B318.

The time and location of the meeting is subject to change so we recommend joining our mailing list to get the latest information on meeting times and the exciting events we hold throughout the winter term.  Just email our president at amnestyubc@gmail.com.
