Hello everyone. My name is Alison, I am a fourth-year student studying International Economics in UBC. I am interested in macroeconomic trends and cost-and-benefit analysis. Recently, I have been exploring areas in digital marketing and E-commerce.

Economics is a really challenging field. It requires mathematical skills as well as critical and logical thinking techniques. Trust me, it is way harder than you think! I am interested in this field not only because I want to know more about the world through a professional global lens, but also because I want to improve economic discrepancies through public policies.

As of my career, I know that my degree at UBC will direct me to a lot of different potential careers. I am eager to learn more and have more hands-on experience in different areas. No matter which position I will spend most of my time in, I hope to bring a small difference to the society I am living in.
