The Andean Democracy Research Network held two back-to-back roundtables at the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) Conference held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 11th, 2009.
At LASA, the ADRN presented findings from research undertaken over the past year. Each roundtable drew a large audience, achieving one of the ADRN’s main objectives: spark dialogue and debate about the state of democracy in the Andean region.
