In Summer 2021, the Aphasia Mentors started a pilot online Rock ‘n’ Pop Choir. We got together once a week for 90 minutes, and sang our hearts out using shared screen for lyrics, and YouTube for backing tracks. There was even some dancing at times!
Given the success of this online group, the Aphasia Mentors Rock ‘n’ Pop Choir is now continuing to sing in-person on Thursday morning at the School of Audiology and Speech Sciences. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Eavan Sinden at esinden@audiospeech.ubc.ca
