Library Student Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, launched in 2006 by Eli Guinnee at the University at Buffalo Amy Buckland at McGill; Amy Buckland at McGill took over from Eli and is now moving on to be its publisher. The Journal has a new editor, Miriam Sweeney of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and she is looking for more student writers to contribute to the Journal.
Since they’re particularly seeking material related to new technologies in libraries, it seems like a great venue for ASIS&T members at SLAIS to publish their work. Papers prepared for a class are considered, as long as they meet submission requirements. Submissions are only accepted from current LIS students, so get moving!
And hey, congratulations to SLAIS alum and former ASIS&T exec member Lili Wang, who was named one of the Journal’s Emerging Leaders for 2008 in September. Way to go, Lili!

Hey – thanks for getting the word out about LSJ!
One correction: LSJ was actually founded by Eli Guinnee at UBuffalo, I took over from him (and will stay on as publisher).
