Update @ 13:45 Mon Mar 21st 2022: Akismet has now been returned to full functionality. However, any comments that have been held for moderation for the past few days will remain in the moderation queue, you will still manually need to approve those comments.
We have received numerous reports that site administrators on UBC Blogs are being informed that comments being made on their blog posts are being held in the moderation queue.
We are in communication with the vendor of the spam-prevention plugin we use across UBC Blogs and will post updates as soon as they are available.
Currently, you need to manually approve any comments that you wish to appear on your sites by visiting the ‘Comments’ tab from your WordPress dashboard.
