Hello everyone! Welcome to my ENGL 301 blog.

ENGL 301 is taught by Dr. Erika Paterson and is an online technical writing course that aims to teach students how to write both independently and collaboratively in a business and professional context. Some of the types of writing done include forming proposals, reports, abstracts, and different types of online communication.

The course is divided into 4 units, with each unit progressing towards a completed final report. Along the way, students will develop skills from working with their writing teams, but also from the feedback of the professor.

Throughout this course, I look forward to learning new techniques for my writing that is appropriate for a professional setting and gaining new knowledge about a type of communication that I am unfamiliar with. I am excited to work with my writing team and Dr. Paterson as we move forward in this course.
