COACH PHILOSOPHY

Mike disney

One of the prime motivators in athletics (and life) is pride in one’s accomplishments. Achievements for each athlete may differ but are found on every stage of the journey. The coach has been successful when the athlete realizes that victory is self-defined and not limited to the final outcome.

The coach and athlete must partner to work for, recognize and celebrate success. A culture where ‘seeking’ excellence is the norm must be established. The athlete who is well trained in the search (struggle) for excellence can apply this skill to life’s many challenges. With repeated and unrelenting dedication to each step on the journey, goals and even dreams can be reached.
