Some users reported the following error when attempting to login to Connect (connect.ubc.ca): shibsp::ListenerException at (https://connect.ubc.ca/webapps/bb-auth-provider-shibboleth-BBLEARN/execute/ shibbolethLogin) We identified the cause of these errors. The issue concerning subscribed discussion forum/threads in Connect have now been resolved.

The discussion tool in Connect is throwing errors when users reply to a discussion thread: “Send email prohibited because email address not specified. Edit Personal Information and set email address”. The reply does not initially get posted, but new discussion messages can be created. Technicians are investigating, no ETA for restoration of reply functionality.
