On Thursday May 1st between 06:00 and 7:30 PT, LOCR, UBC Library’s new and improved online course reserves system will be installed in Connect. During the maintenance window, Connect will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes while the new tool is installed.

LOCR was developed in-house to meet instructors’ needs, satisfy UBC’s copyright requirements and provide an enhanced course reserves service. Highlights include:

• An updated look and feel;
• Enhanced search functionality;
• The ability for instructors to add notes for students and track materials more effectively during processing; and
• A more robust database.
