Mar 31st, 2012 by David Symonds
Now that you’ve mastered the first 7 idioms, search Idiomsite and Idiom connection with your partners to find the meanings of the remaining idioms on the list.
see eye to eye
on pins and needles
fly off the handle
born yesterday
hold your horses
bury the hatchet
as a matter of fact
spill the beans
It may take some time to find the meanings for these idioms, so be patient, and work together! Write down the actual meaning of any idioms you were unsure about.
If you have any problems, ask another student for help with the task, or ask your teacher.
When you are finished, go on to Activity #4.
