The Daugaard Lab is a team of talented scientists lead by Dr. Mads Daugaard at Vancouver Prostate Centre. Our research focuses on the development of novel innovative technology for cancer therapeutics and diagnostics.
Therapeutically, we aim to target cancer using small molecule drugs, protein-drug conjugates, bi-specific therapeutic proteins, and cell-based immunotherapies. Diagnostically, we focus on developing novel platform technologies for isolating circulating tumour cells and cancer stem cells, as well as assays detecting urine-based biomarkers across multiple cancer indications.
Dr. Daugaard is also the Head of the Molecular Pathology Core Facility which offers clinical grade, high throughput analytical services with fast turnaround times
