Collective Genius

Why can some organizations innovate time and again, while most cannot? This is the question posed by Harvard Professor Linda Hill and her colleagues Greg Brandeau, Emily Truelove and Kent Lineback in a new book: Collective Genius: The Art and Practice of Leading Innovation.

The Collective Genius team analyzed innovative companies from Volkswagen, Google and eBay to Pfizer and various non-profits. What they found is that the most effective leaders are able to release the collective genius of their working teams through collaboration, discovery-driven learning and integrative decisions.
