Grit Survey

If there is one thing that entrepreneurs need to be, it is gritty. Grit is something that MacArthur Fellow Dr. Angela Duckworth studies in her lab at the University of Pennsylvania. She defines it as: ‘Grit is the tendency to sustain interest in and effort toward very long-term goals.’

Duckworth has developed a questionnaire that anyone can take as they start considering how ‘gritty’ they might be. As ever, it is important to answer questions from the gut, without thinking about what the ‘right answer’ is supposed to be.
