On May 14, EDST students gathered for a peaceful pause in the midst of a busy term during our monthly Mindfulness with Mahfida event—this time featuring a guided meditation session.
Held in the cozy space of PCN 2012, the event created a calm, welcoming environment for participants to breathe deeply, reset their minds, and gently reconnect with their bodies. With soft lighting, soothing guidance, and time for quiet reflection, the meditation helped release tension and brought a renewed sense of balance to many attendees.
Community, Calm, and Conversation
After the meditation, participants shared their experiences over snacks and refreshments, offering thoughtful feedback and creative suggestions for future mindfulness events.
These heartfelt reflections highlight just how important it is to carve out time for stillness, especially in the demanding rhythm of academic life.

Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled to hear that students are eager for more mindfulness opportunities over the summer! Stay tuned for upcoming events, each with a new theme aimed at supporting your well-being and helping us all navigate our academic journeys with greater clarity, care, and connection.
