Welcome English 301
Hello everyone. I am pleased to be beginning a new semester of English 301. I designed this course as an online course in 2014 and have been teaching all my courses online since that time. I am happy to have become an online professor before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world. Please take your time and explore this website. You should begin with the course description and work you way through the menu at the top.
Here is a copy of our Evaluation sheet 301 Evaluation Sheet attached as a PDF. Please take a close look at the sheet, read the introductory comments carefully and note the value of each assignment.
You will need a copy of our textbook: Technical Communication, 15th Edition by John M. Lannon; Laura J. Gurak
You can order a digital or a hard copy via Amazon as well as other sources, but be sure to order the 15th edition.
