Below is a summary of my research of best practises for using LinkedIn for professional use, as instructed by the English 301 Course Website. LinkedIn is career-oriented website that allows people to digitally network. Optimizing your LinkedIn account is a great way to connect with professionals.

1. You should have a professional summary with a clear goal or objection.
2. It is beneficial to include an up-to-date professional photo.
3. Building your professional network with quality connections is a great way to enhance your profile.
4. Your skills and strengths should be highlighted in a specific section.
5. Your work and volunteer history should be kept short and concise.
6. Don’t be afraid to reach out to others with a personal message.
7. Maintaining a professional profile and communication.
8. To have your skills endorsed by others.
9. To be reachable and check your account regularly.
10. Following groups and pages relevant to your career and read related news allows you to be up to date and familiarize yourself with others in that industry.

In conclusion, LinkedIn is a platform that can be used to optimize your professional social media profile. Following these practises will enhance your use of LinkedIn.
