I created my Educational Venture Analysis (EVA) on a data visualization app called Venngage. I love creating 2D graphics and I had some experience with graphic design before becoming an analyst. So I wanted to learn what types of software is available and what is the area for investment.
Here are my findings.
Side note, I have never completed 2 projects back to back (Opportunity Forecast for week 5 and then EVA for week 6) before and I am so proud of myself to be able to complete it in time! I am going to pat myself in the back. 😀

Hello,
My name is M from Vancouver, BC. I received my BSc of Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University. I have designed user interfaces and other visual elements for a variety companies such as IBM, Electronic Arts, Canadian Blood Services, and Vancouver Coastal Health. While I was creating visual arts for gaming companies, I became obsessed with data and analytics. I enjoyed learning about user experience and how their behaviours change based on minor/major adjustment to a program. So, I evolved from designing elements for games to analyzing data for the healthcare system.
My experience with design and data analytics evoked my desire to teach and to share my experience with other students. I also wish to design and to create my own curriculum one day. Upon graduating from the ETEC program, I hope to learn some valuable skills to further update my skills. I also wish to learn more about current teaching practices that I can also implement in my current practice.
