Hi everyone. I currently live in North Van as I was drawn to the mountains for mountain biking and skiing but I’ve lived in a few other places too. I grew up in Toronto, taught for a year in Busan, Korea, and another year in Shanghai, China. I’m currently teaching grades 6 & 7 here in BC and I love it (though I miss the sheer number of adventures that travel brings).
I’m just on my third and fourth courses in my MET journey. I look forward to balancing my learning with two courses this term with teaching remotely for the next while, and possibly teaching in-person for summer school.
Teaching / travelling overseas sounds like a dream…
Now that I’m “stuck” in a school board it does bring back some nice memories for sure.
