For my analytical publishing project, I will be analyzing the free learning management system, Google Classroom, and its teachers’ and students’ user interface.
This is a video that I have made that includes my analysis.
As someone who uses google classroom frequently, I really appreciated this informative video. It is interesting to see even since this was posted how much Google Classroom has evolved. Now, with COVID restrictions and work from home orders for teachers and students, I really feel that there is more pressure on the designers of the program to make additions and improvements to the platform. For example, there is now a direct link to hangouts on google classroom, this allows teachers to start a synchronous lesson with students directly from the classes “hub.”
