A1: Data Consolidation as in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

I created a video in portrait orientation which is optimized for mobile viewing. I immediately jumped to this topic as I have dabbled in many iterations of this long-running series and have always been disappointed by the level of detail present in the past. This overhauled version has some really exciting technology in it, and I believe this type of tech will change the way we learn in the future. I chose to make a video as I was part of the Video Primary team, and YouTube (and other video platforms) keep expanding at a staggering rate.

Thank you for the very engaging presentation, Jonathan. It’s amazing to see how far things have come. As I look ahead and think about the feasibility of imagined future technologies, like the historical recreations you mentioned, I tend to take a pessimistic “that sounds too good to be true” stance. However, looking back at the original flight simulators and comparing them with the current data consolidation-wielding version, it seems foolish to think that future data consolidated technologies will be anything less than extraordinary.

I also take a skeptical view of a lot of these new techs including AR and VR going beyond gimmicky “wow” demonstrations, but I think once the right people with enough money get behind it then you can see some truly impressive and useful things!
      Thanks for checking it out.
