How the times are changing…

Posted in Mobile Culture

I saw this video and thought about how prominent mobile culture has changed the way we teach and learn. What are our objectives now when we teach? No longer are we simply looking to transmit information, but to inspire innovation, creativity, and critical thought. Our roles as educators are now, more than ever, to inspire, motivate, and guide our students.

Enjoy the laugh and continue forward, innovators of educational technology!

P.S. If anyone knows how to make this video smaller, I would greatly appreciate your help!

I did get a laugh from this video. The scary thing is how so much has changed with our dependence on devices particularly mobile devices.

Hi Elixa – your video sounds super interesting, but it won’t load for me! (I’m using an iPad) – Can you post the link? I posted on something similar above. We’ve moved away from content and towards the facilitator role using curricular competencies. It’s a big shift that not all educators are ready (or willing) to make.
