With mobile technologies, creativity can happen anywhere! I came across this app called VLLO a while ago and it’s such a great tool for editing videos using any mobile phone or tablet. For those of you who are into video editing, it doesn’t provide as many options and tools as a program like Adobe Premier would offer but I think it has all the “basic essentials.” You can still add effects, subtitles, mosaics, and other features and this app is available for both Android and iOS devices. Although Adobe Premier has its own mobile version, I noticed myself using VLLO a lot more because I personally find it more user friendly.
Youtube is such a huge trend and I think apps like VLLO can allow the “beginners” to create content of their own. Video editing programs can be very complex and almost intimidating, and something more simplified like VLLO will allow a wide range of users to get creative anywhere (as long as they have their mobile devices).
I’m glad you found something that works well on mobile devices. I believe that editing videos on the mobile phone it not quite there yet. I used Adobe Rush which is a slimmer version of Premiere on the phone and the experience is not pleasant. I feel these apps are designed with larger screens in mind. Ill try this application and see. Thanks for your reply! I’ve used Adobe Rush and I agree with you, it’s not great. I still have it installed on my iPad but I rarely reach out for it.
Video editing is definitely better on a larger screen and on a computer but I think VLLO is the best for more of a “on-the-go” idea. I hope you find it useful!
