Mobile Apps in Cancer Care

“The best cancer care starts with the best information” is how Cancer.Net defines its purpose. To approach patients and follow their journeys, Cancer.Net Mobile was created. The APP can help patients, families, and caregivers track symptoms and medications, get answers to disease and cancer care questions, and the latest news from Cancer.Net’s blog, videos, and podcasts. The mobile is an entirely free mobile application from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Available on both iOS and Android devices, Cancer.Net Mobile provides a complete set of tools to help manage more than 90 types of cancer with specific data from statistics to clinical trials in cancer care, as well as trusted, oncologist-approved information from ASCO. Certainly, this mobile will help people coping with anxiety, stress, depression, treatments, and side effects attributed to cancer management.

Having recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, I love this APP! Being North of the border, I ask, is there a Canadian counterpart for this APP?

Health care will be one of the largest industries for selling digital products that are both tangible and intangible. I am glad that you are posting this information Alexei, for it cannot be overlooked. Health care will likely shed ideas in how digital products will reshape education with the introduction of 5G networks.
