For my A1 Analytical Publishing Project I chose to build-upon my earlier post exploring Mentoring Software. In that post, I looked at Mentor City as an example of mentoring software within the mobility ecosystem. However, upon further exploration, my interest was piqued by the question of whether mobile mentoring would suit the context of higher education, at the faculty level. The below video I created discusses the benefits and limitations of such technology within the higher ed space, and my concluding thoughts raise questions surrounding rationale, implementation and sustainability. Note: because of the software I used to create the video, it is quite longer than originally planned – apologies.
