Vernier science has developed a suit of fully mobile app (free) that can be used to develop a large number of science analysis. The tool is meant to accompany teachers in there pursuit to developed interactive science experiments. Where once students had to observe, collect, and plot there own data; now simply purchase a $300 sensor to do it for you!
Jokes aside, this piece of technology is quite robust with a lot of use cases. And, if affordable, would benefit many senior science classrooms.
