A1: Blippar: Redefining Mobile Learning Through Augmented Reality

Posted in (A1) Analyses

I am sharing my personal experience and findings using Blippar to enrich mobile learning through augmented reality. As an educator and researcher, I documented my hands-on exploration—from the first moment I realized how easily Blippar transforms an ordinary phone camera into an interactive learning lens, to the practical applications and challenges unique to classrooms.

Throughout this blog, I reflect on:

  • the conceptual breakthroughs that allow AR to blend reality and digital information seamlessly for students,
  • how Blippar’s browser-based AR authoring tool empowers teachers, even those without coding skills, to create and share micro-lessons,
  • and lessons learned about effective AR instructional design, educational impact, and technology limitations.

My goal is to help fellow educators by sharing insights, strategies, and candid reflections on Blippar’s promise and pitfalls for mobile education. If you are considering AR in your teaching, you’ll find authentic, classroom-tested advice and analysis here, grounded in my direct experience.
