Impact assessments

In short an impact assessment documents what is changing, including jobs, processes, tools, and information. After a list is compiled information is gathered and analyzed on the current state and the future state of each element that is changing. This analysis will be conducted by using information including but not limited to end-users, subject matter experts, and internal organizational documents (e.g. strategy plans, job descriptions, reports, etc…) and external sources (e.g. industry reports).

Watch the short video below, and explore the listed articles to start thinking about how you can conduct an impact analysis for your project or initiative.
