Rip.Mix.Feed – Rise of Social Media
I decided to create an Infographic using Piktochart because I wanted to explore a website that I have never used before. I felt that it was very user friendly and I would definitely recommend this to a colleague for their own classroom.
I attempted to show the rise of social media through charts and graphs. I briefly touch upon how social media can be used for important events, such as presidential elections. It is my hope that this raises some thoughts regarding how social media has affected our lives and how this will affect our future.

Great poster Sean! Social media has had a huge impact on our society. I rarely get phone calls anymore. Many of the connections and friendships I have are mediated by social media. Your info graphics reminded me of this image I saw on Facebook.
I liked your infographic and wasn’t aware of Piktochart before seeing your example. Thanks for sharing that. The information displayed well and was very easy to read.
