The FACILITATION AND PROCESS DESIGN team (FPD) provides consulting services and support to individuals and groups within the UBC teaching and learning community. We have develop educational resources, facilitate events, processes, and meetings, and collaboratively engage a diverse learning community in meaningful, responsive and needs-based programs.

As members of the FPD Team, we continuously work to improve our teaching and learning programs, resources, and services and always welcome your contributions and involvement.


Resource
Development


We recognize our own and the community’s limitations regarding time and presence. Not everyone can come to a workshop or drop in session, nor does everyone need to. The resources that we produce support members of the UBC community in taking advantage of emerging technologies and research that supports their teaching and learning.

Facilitation


We work with individuals and units across campus to design and facilitate many types of interactions to help them meet their needs and achieve their goals. The purposes of these interactions have ranged from improving collaboration and teamwork to the development of communication frameworks and strategic plans to conducting needs assessments, among others.
