Tianyi Zhang created this retelling of the classic fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood, as a final project for English 150. This retelling was inspired by their own experiences when their grandfather received a scam phone call. Tianyi says, “Scammers, like the evil wolves lurking in the modern world, use sweet talk to trick the elderly.” They used the Japanese manga comic style to give a modern twist on this classic tale. Tianyi hopes this story will shed light on the vulnerability of the elderly, remind young adults to protect their elders, and to help them report fraud to the authorities.
