APPLE: The Ethics of Exploiting Tax Loopholes

The phenomenon that Apple Companies evade tax disobeyed business ethics, it’s not only unfair to other companies, but also caused the fear from customers.

The techniques of tax loopholes are as clever as they make iPhones. However, nobody can say that they disobey the law. Compared to other enterprises, Apple seems too special that they have to take advantages of competitors from the tax policy that fits most of the enterprises to save the costs.

In modern society, everyone has the privacy, and the most basic requirement is to respect and protect people’s privacy, which is closely related to respecting personal right as well as guaranteeing human rights.

As social organizations, the enterprises should not only obey the law, but also obey the code of ethics, which I think is essential to customers. To be more specific, the phenomena, which disobey the moral principles, such as tax loopholes, should not appear in front of the public.

As far as I’m concerned, to judge whether a company disobey business ethics or not, a simple way is perspective thinking. If Apple keeps disobeying business ethics instead of concerning more about the rights of customers, it can’t go much further in the future.
